Fishing in Nootka in April-May

Hello all I will be working and staying in Nootka for a little while coming up soon and plan on taking my boat for after work entertainment. I fish the sound allot in the summer but have no idea what the fishing is like during the early spring. If there are springs around i'll probably try dragging a few lines around and i plan on tryin for some prawns and bottom fish. I will probably be staying close to cougar creek so I won't have time for long runs at night.Any tips anybody has would be greatly appreciated!

Im gonna be there Apr 9, 10, 11 for some butts. We do this trip every year and the inshore hali fishins always good if the weather cooperates.Burdwood bay is a good bet.
