What's for dinner tonight ?

After fishing yesterday, figured I would cook up some of the coho I caught. Along with Roy I was out picking last week and found some lobsters as well.

So the final dish was a curried mustard cream sauce with some of my pasta. Damn tasty!!

By the way Wolf love the fresh pasta that you are making, it looked great!

Not for dinner but will be part of the appetizer for tomorrows family dinner.

Finally had time to get some fish smoked. 14hour brine, quick rinse before bed ,9 hour air dry and 8 hours in the big chief. couple extra hours for the thick pieces.

Couple racks cooling while the thick stuff stays in the heat.

Kids are already bugging mom to make pate.

Not dinner but just canned up 36 jars of sockeye, didn't feel like waiting around for the last sock I had so brined it up and will pickle it tomorrow.

Time to fire up the smoker, make some candy and stuff some casings with deer/pork garlic coil.
Will post up some photos of the sausage as we go.
