Washdown pump question

Totally unexpected

Wanting to add a washdown pump to my boat ,but not to keen on drilling a hole in the hull ,would rather tee off of the existing head inlet. Has anyone done this before?, do I need regular tee,a y valve or some other type of 3 way diverter valve. Any and all suggestion welcome. Thanks

If you tee into the water inlet thru hull, you will need 2 inline check valves to make the system not cavitate

I have the exact set up that you're talking about. I run a hose hanging over the transom. One end is submerged in water and the other end goes into my Jabsco pump (Get yourself a 5-6GPM - 60-70PSI pump). I mounted this on the side wall of water well and the wires are connected on my fuse bar with a 5amp fuse.
