Scotty Downrigger Rod Holder Replacement

Does anyone know of a metal replacement for the Scotty downrigger rod holders? I recently noticed how much flex is on the plastic ones and last weekend it happened.. One broke off and the rod and reel are gone. Looking for a solution for this.

Those rod holders on the 2106’s are garbage.

I ripped them off and now use the dual bases with the shorter plastic holders. Love em.

Ive been saying this for a couple years someone with a 3 or 4 axis cnc machine needs to make some out of machined alum or stainless

So many people i know have had them snapped

people lean on them so much...
and then use them for hali as well.....
i just use the old dual tube holder never had an issue ....
but people like the bling factor
