rod types for pike

u know since u do so much fishindg a i have so little time and experiance it would be interesting to have a few proffesional opinions from u about the best rod to buy and the best methode to catch them. i always have to use different methodes acording to thier places and i dont seem to find a "good" one its never the same!

u dont know what a northern pike is wow its the most common fish in canada and is everywhere!

he probly knew, the point is that this isnt a pike/walleye/other assorted warm water fish forum. although its called sportfishingbc its mainly vancouver island and lower mainland fishing which does not involve these species. hate to burst your bubble but you may need to pick another forum if u want a lot of advice on non salmon/bottomfish/trout/steelhead/shellfish and to some degree bass.
