remote steering for kicker

My boat has power steering which makes turning the leg with the engine off hard.Using an e-z steer is not an option.Has anyone installed a remote (motorised) unit on their kicker? I heard someone on the island had designed one.

Panther Marine makes a remote unit that mounts through the tilt tube called the T4. I installed one 1 1/2 years ago and it works like a dream. I'm using the wireless remote but the wired unit that comes with it works just as well.

I had a second steering sys. parallel'd to the existing power steering. It's a standalone teleflex unit. Effortless steering w. the main, and when connected to my kicker w. an EZ steer works good. Bit pricey though.
