I was wondering if anyone had any kind of report for Nootka?
I was planning to a 2 day trip this week.

Fished nootka last weekend until tuesday. did ok couple fish a day .
the word is (or was) the fish are mainly outside (spotty inside) . water was ok not good enough for me to go outside.

ps I'm talking north nootka esperanza.

Thanks redliner. I will make the trip regardless. I will fish the light house and Maquinna. I will post a midweek report when I get back.. Hopefully it will be promising..

you might try running out past maquinna to beano creek in the early am, last year at this time it was really good fishing
