a friend in town here does reel repairs and I got him to do it. He said just be careful drilling the handle so the new hole is same depth/length as the screw. I also have a couple of TFO reels that have the same mod and they work great too.Prawn Star.....aside from a slight mod/drill to the inside of the paddle it seems like an easy paddle swap? May get on it today but as I am fishing tomorrow I am worried about screwing it up...haha.
