Lake Cowichan to Port Renfrew

Is the road paved all the way now? Heading over tomorrow from the interior and dont know what route/ ferry to take. Thanks HH.

THE ROAD IS PAVED ALL THE WAY BUT THE LAST 10 KMS ARE BUMPY.

Like DSS says once you pass Fairy lake slow down if your trailering a boat otherwise it will bounce really bad.

And slow and steady in general! There's a few unmarked narrow sections that aren't really wide enough for two wide vehicles to pass (boats, RVs, logging trucks). I had a close call with an RV last summer in one of these, both of us going fast.
