it was started as a private derby invitational only perhaps the word investment was a poor choicethe other questions i wonteven try to tackle but i do know that many thousands of dollars have gone into salmon en hancement because of this derby and great prizes for the lucky fishermen it was a derby started by a few guys and there friends for enhancement and great prizes and went from there.no different than 20 guys putting up 100$ each winner take all now theeres 700 or sopeople in it.and the original guys had to buy there tickets each yearso theycan get them next year. hopefully it doesnt get much bigger than it is nowplease give a guy room when he has a fish on anytime any where good luck if your in the derby or not
