there's about twelve of us goin up friday night some stayin on their boats at gov dock and seven of us renting a place on the water with its own dock.

yea its not well advertised thats for sure.I think the last year I went in it was around 1993.

Where and when is this derby? I am just back into fishing after many years and am not aware of the Firemans Derby or where it is at. Do you have to be a fireman? If yes do x volunteers count? Always into having a beer and saying hello ( and maybe even catching a fish).
