Just wondering if anyone has used the new Scotty braided line. Has anyone had it snap on them? I was thinking that I could use 200lb test Tuff line instead. Any comments would be helpful. Thanks

Bottom line lot's of guys using it with good results. I've been running the 140# Tuff Line for a couple of seasons with pretty heavy use and never had ANY problems even with some pretty good bottom hookups. Will never go back to wire!!!

I gave the Scotty Braid a try and found it to hang back a fair bit compared to steel cable with anything less than 15#.
I am now going to give 200 # powerpro a try, i have heard great things about it. The Alaska Guides swear by the stuff on there riggers and hali reels.
