They say chum don’t bite after Campbell River. I don’t know about that because there was a commercial opening last year out in front of Comox. I tried fishing beside the fleet but had no luck. I don’t know what the commercial fleet was trolling but I was using the standard Brown’s Bay setup. Michael Bait 2.5 MB181 or MB182 with a leader length of fingertip to nose and plenty of flash. I use dummy flashers and always stack four rods. Maybe someone else has a better method but there not telling. Our friends to the south target them in the fall and from what I recall they use a chartreuse spoon in 3.5 to 4 inch. It would be great to be able to have some success in home waters.

Thanks GLG, maybe some more input could help us all. i heard troll slow, like nearly not moving at all. [:p]
