chum fishing out of hardy

for several years i have headed to browns bay for fall chum fishing having alot of fun and success, have tried up here in hardy and have not been able to get them to bite, can see them everywhere, but not on the line, any sugestions

Haven't tried Hardy but light limegreen hootchies on and Abe&Al flasher with 30" leader works around Johnston Strait.

Try looking at DJ lures web page they are out of Hardy I believe,I know his sockeye lures work really well.Can't vouch for the chum lures,There are some pictures of chum setups on his site.Dan

If they are sitting at their river, they are unlikely to bite (same issue with Saanich Inlet & the goldstream run). You have to pretty much annoy them into biting! I would just stick with what you do at Browns and keep trying....purple & blues and dead slow
