campbell river reoprts??

I don't know about on fire, but there's still a few around. No luck for me the other day but was only out a couple hours late on the ebb. Met a few fishers at the launch. Most had been out for at least 5-6 hours and averaged 1-2 fish per boat. 10-20 average. other guys are still talking about how hot it was two weeks ago.

On a second note, checked out the river looking for some of the pinks that are supposed to be in. Didn't see any fish off the bridge except 1 little trout about 10 inches that followed a guys fly down the current. Two fly-fishers on the water after trout, no luck for either of them. Not even an accidental hook-up so if they're there they aren't showing themselves. Looks like another week yet.

BB, come on man I have heard about tons of fish over the last couple of days being caught in CR. Limits had by many. That is great fishing if you asked me... Sorrry but I will not talk about cat food/pinks. Not going to waste my time talking about that fishery......

Fishing is ok up here at the moment ;) Got a 38lb and a 25lb today. I will post some pics later. :)

Went out to test our boat today off salmon point. Guy there got a 20lber 1/2 way between salmon point and the hump with a watermelon coyote spoon. I didn't ask the depth tho.

That was me there Heavyc. Fish took my spoon at 90 feet on the downrigger.
Heard from other folks that a bunch of heavy fish were caught yesterday.
Makes mine seem like a light weight.

Launched with a friend at bigrock this morning at 730. Fished a line between rona and the lighthouse, that little saddle there, on the slack low. Tonnes of hits, but at 190ft of water didn't always get it out in time. Boated a 17lber and then a 20 shortly after that. Army truck flasher 4ft to a glowhead sparkle hoochie. Came in off the water at noon with just the two.
