As a side note, I was riding the Canada line downtown from YVR and noticed a yard not far from the airport on the Richmond side with some cars and a couple larger cruisers of that vintage / condition...

Thought to myself...the monthly storage has to be more than the boat is worth...wtf?

Lol, there were boats that were probably worth 30k and covered in green algae that never left the marina in 2 years paying upwards of 1-2k a month on moorage when I was at Milltown in Vancouver. A real head scratcher.
