Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

This is a good family boat Stizzla

Thanks for thinking of me! It may be a tad big still.

I think a 19-21 would be perfect. I’m gong to me trailering it, and I just have one little kiddo.
It needs to be a sweet deal as I may flip whatever I get sometime in the near future. This won’t be my long term awesome boat. That will be my next one. I’m treating this as a rental.

fwiw i found the difference between trailering (launching and recovering, solo) my former 2052 trophy vs my current 17 hourston to be night and day. as such, i've gotten waaaaay more use out of the hourston as i often fish solo mid week.. also in terms of the type of weather i want to be out in with either boat... it's the same. the trophy had the cuddy...that was nice for the ole lady on rare occasions but i personally never used it anyway.. i only offer this as one perspective that bigger wasn't necessarily better for me.. and to cross thread this a bit i can offer that the inboard and leg in the trophy was a huge pita for oil changes and maintenance vs the outboard

better add a boat so as not to get scolded

Had a 17 Montauk, didn't like it :( so not on my list...

A 17-18 DE or Hourston I am thinking  Rebuilds need not apply! LOL

Who here knows the "ins and outs" of these smaller boats, I know some models are better than others, also some ppl do not advertise the length model correctly... any advise?

I’ve been getting some very kind and helpful people PM’s... Thank you guys.
Robert, The double eagle 176 is great fishing boat. Hourston 17 is also great and we all know you love the brand.
DE 185 adds a cuddy as does the campion 542.
16’er is good too but a little small for lumpy water

Thx bro, so looks like my search has just narrowed to the 17' - 18'6" DE or Hourston. Ok anyone selling something cheap, no motor preferred :)

I guess I could probably rebuild one in a month if need be...

I have a 90 hp Evinrude Etc that would look really good on a 17' boat. Its a 2011 but only has about 130 hours on it. Comes with controls and ICommand gauge. Let me know if you are interested.

I think I just drooled on myself there a bit... DE 17 with an etec bolted to the back...

That 77 DE is sharp! I’d be all over that if the wife would let me have 2 boats....o_O
