Where can a guy tie up his boat and go for a walk to Bradys beach? Is there a public dock in bamfield for this?

You're not supposed to, but I anchored off the beach and tendered in.
Why can't you do that?

I haven't been there for a few years, but Bamfield Mercantile and Marine store has a public dock. How big is your boat? I am sure if you tie up there and buy some beer from them, they would be fine if you left a smaller boat at their dock for a couple of hours. Brady's beach is only a 10-15 minute walk from there. If you have a tender and a bigger boat, then either anchor at the end of the inlet, or tie up at the marina. There is also a water taxi that will take you from the marina across the inlet. From memory, all the other docks on the west side of the inlet are private.
