2022 Vancouver-Howe Sound-Sechelt Reports Thread

Found a few today up Howe sound. Weather was better than we were expecting but some chop from SE on the way back to north arm.

Fished tunstall, waterfall and grace and picked up these three keepers along with a few others just under. Chartreuse Needlefish spackleback hootch was the winner today in 180-200. Heater was cranked and bbq hot dogs for lunch. Felt like summer out there … almost.

so you were not bottom bouncing? I know the bottom isn't as flat there as Vancouver Harbour.

Fished HITW today for 2 hours. 200 to 250ft, spoons mostly. Only 1 undersized for us. Bait was stacked 100 - 300 ft

Which wind direction is best for Tunstall? I know NW is good & SW is bad. How is strong SE or E or NE?

Waterfall sucks. Stick to doing laps at Tunstall. Easier fishery. Lots of company too.

That's really clever actually, but no. Hole In The Wall. Just outside of Horseshoe Bay.

I have a Mercury 115 lease return, 2022 model year. I am truly torn though, the 90 runs flawlessly and has approx. 1000 hours.

I was planning to give it a go. Just checked the forecast. Seems to have gone south.
