I am leaning toward Twin Honda 100’s, I like the redesign of them and what they have done to fix their past issuesAwesome! What power are you thinking you will actually use?
I don’t know of any shops near me that service Honda’s. Keep that in mind because you won’t be able to service everything yourself.I am leaning toward Twin Honda 100’s, I like the redesign of them and what they have done to fix their past issues
I am putting in an 80 Gal in floor tank. I need to raise the floor about 2” over the stringers. It still gives me 29” to the gunnel so it will still be a comfortable hight.Haven’t read the whole thread but wondering why you are raising floor above the stringer level?
Another option would be to cut a few inches out of the stringers in the area you want the tank to go over to the next compartment..I am putting in an 80 Gal in floor tank. I’m not as a familiar with the DE but the 20’ Hourston with a 2” higher floor might be close to accommodating a self bailing deck?I am putting in an 80 Gal in floor tank. Yea I have thought about it. Once I have motors mounted and see how she sits with a full tank of fuel I will get a better idea.I’m not as a familiar with the DE but the 20’ Hourston with a 2” higher floor might be close to accommodating a self bailing deck?

Might create fuel draw issues while running? What if you turned the tank around and run the filler tube up the back of the transom area and the senders could be accessed with a deck plate. Also picture looks like tank sits deeper towards the transom than in the front.
Nice popsicle stick! Lol jk that build is coming together nicely and looks wicked Dan! I’m jealousSome more test fitting and more work on the bulkheads. Drains should work well.
