my next (last) project boat

Just back from Sooke with the boat. I think I've had 5 pod's built and this one is the best looking one I've had done, the welds are nice and the aluminum plate is almost twice as thick as my last one. Total cost with him hanging the motor was $2600. If anyone is looking to get a pod built I'll give you his number

that's a really wicked job Gary...Can you at some point forward details what you paid all done.. I may consider it if I keep my malibu... New inboard in this year can't afford pod yet... Amazing what you started with....!

Those are some nice welds. The Hourston suddenly looks smaller with that 300 hanging off the back!

Fascinating - guess the next step is rigging? and then what will you do to make the hull look good? or will you do the interior first??

I come up with different numbers then FA but same as Spring, all fairly close tho
Tank capacity = LxWxH = cubic volume X 7.48 gallons per cubic foot of space = the tank capacity

30x11x75=24,750/1728=14.3229167x7.48=107.135 us gal or 89 imp gal
but then the taper changes it all

Great rebuild, I just started a similar project on an early 70's Reinell 21ft Hardtop alaskan bulkhead. Starting on evaluating the floor and structure on Monday. I hope my stringers are as good as yours!!
