Derby's Canuck emporium

I betcha they don't know the course quite so well this time next year.........;)

Psst......they've been saying that after each #1 draft pick....three years in a row.....throw in a #7 and a #3 to round out the last 5 years and they're still pretty good at golf come early April. :p

Well my team fell last night was OK the Winnipeg has great fan support. They went a lot farther than I thought.,...Tonight Canucks will fall, but Calgary wont go far Ducks will smash the crap out of them. My predictions is Calgary will be out in 2nd round.. I think the canucks need some serious rebuilding with younger players..Somethings not working. There is something about the 3rd period for that team..they just always choke...

As a former Pegger myself I was impressed with them and their determination to get in. My Dad and Bro-in-Law (my family has season tix) were at the game and said it was absolutely crazy/insane. EVERY NHL fan could/should only wish/hope their fans can be like that; 150% class and awesome!!!

As a Flyer fan I was fully on board pulling for Wpg.

In saying all of that....Anaheim was just that much better although they only led for 10 minutes in the first 3 games. They stood them up at the blue line last night and when they did gain the zone there were ALWAYS being pushed to the outside with no pressure in front of the net for the most part. They had NO breakout game whatsoever because of Anaheim's forecheck...so many times they were turned back in their own zone or wound up making sloppy passes/turnovers in their own zone. Could go on and on.....but hats off to them and their fans!

Oh ya......NEVER liked him but man do I hate Kesler now. :p

hate the man, but never hate the player. Too bad he didn't bring that game to his previous team very often. Yah gotta love his tenacity in front of the net.

he was the best player on both teams when they eliminated the Predators in 2011 but he's still a selfish player.....hates to pass

A GM gone, Coach gone, two really good goaltenders gone from last year. Yet it looks like Van will only play 5 more game than last year. Third period let downs are usually a conditioning or age factor. Hockey is a young mans game. But you need balance. Everyone needs to be fast. Front and back end. The Canucks rarely have all Pistons moving. Given what they started with, they exceeded expectations. I hate to say it but the Sedin twins don't have the legs to be front and centre but still have place.

If you look at what the elite teams bring to the ice in terms of a first line it is easy to see we are a little out classed.

So much will depend on which team shows up. If the Nucks run scared of their shadow like in last 3 games its all over. If they bring their big boy pants and lay a licken on them they could do it in game 7 at home....hoping for a hard hitting game where they take away time and space for Calgary. Need to get lots of bodies in front of the net too. If net crashing is allowed, we should be all in.

I have learned to hate the fan base here.....more specifically at Rogers Arena.

Too expensive for most of the fans to come out from the Valley. It seems like a lot of the fans downtown are just there as it's the place to be. I can watch it at home.

Wow, lot more energy and push back tonight. 2 more of those and we are off to the races. Liked Miller, he was a difference maker. Think key to success is to go into Cow Town and hit em hard, play aggressive and lay the boots to em. Then score a few goals.

Looking like I don't have to buy that bottle just yet!

I Think the Key was keeping a body in front of the net, so many times the pass to the front and no one there ,
also seemed to play with a lot more grit tonight, hopefully a momentum shifter tonight
