Transportation from Port Hardy to Rivers Inlet

We run over there a lot that time of year but you have to count on weather delays.
Water taxis will bang there way up in pretty ****** weather but it wont be cheap unless the boat is full of passengers.
Pretty sure commercial operators would need to see proof of vaccine for that and the other passengers would have something to say about riding with the lone fool.
Or he could do the right thing and get a shot.

Is the Lodge you guys are fishing out of going to allow a unvaccinated person?

I am planning a trip with friends to Rivers Inlet. Accommodations are taken care of. July 29- aug 1 of 2022. One of my friends is not vaccinated and cannot get on a plane. We are looking for someone to get him there and take him back. Preferably a boat taxi from Port Hardy. Money is not an issue. Who ever can help will be paid handsomely. Any suggestions would be helpful.
I can't believe this discussion is even happening. The anti vax people show no respect for the general population. Our hospitals are overflowing and people needing life saving surgeries are being denied that opportunity. Here we are worrying about your buddy going fishing. He needs to get vaccinated now!
We shouldn't be supporting them. Admin. should shut this discussion off now!

By next summer it'll be impossible to do anything without showing your vaccine status. They will ratchet up requirements month by month. Hotels temp accommodations will be on the list at some point.

You must believe everything you hear on the news lol

Could buy his own wings and get his pilots lisc and fly himself . Maybe best thing he doesnt go and catch Covid from the others he'll thank you in the long run !

This thread is falling off the tracks. The OP asked if someone might transport his friend next year that is not vaccinated. If you are interested in doing it or know someone that might be, PM him and discuss. The Covid/vaccine conversation is alive and well in the that thread and that's where it will stay.

Shoor Serengeti a message - he goes over to the mainland almost every day for fishing - coming from PH. For some cash he may go a few miles further to drop off your buddy.

I guess the biggest question, after how he gets there is: Does your accommodation ask for vaccine status? Because if they do then it's a non discussion.

Pretty sure, last summer we were asked about vaccinations at Dawson’s landing and masks were mandatory in the store to get supplies and pay for your fuel

That's right and only one person in the store at a time.
