Can I do my own first 100 hour service on my new Yam 9.9 HP HT? I've got 75 hours on it and plan to fish Nootka early July for 12 days over two trips and am pretty sure I'll be well over 100 hours by that point. None of the Yam dealers have time right now to do it. Can I do it myself and not void warranty? Can I wait and bring it in post trip with 200 hours?

I have new mercury power and was told by my dealer I can do services. Marked down hours in log book and save receipts. Did my main and kicker.

Yes you can service it without warranty issues, like mentioned keep receipts and follow the maintenance guide
