It is the same meds as in the patch sold to cruise ship travelers but stronger and you have the option to take another if needed while the dose on the patch is low and unchangeable. One side effect for middle aged men is possible urinary blockage requiring imediate medical attention, thus the prescripton recquirement. My wife gets sick if the water even thinks about building up and we tried everthying listed above and nothing even came close to working, although some did make her sleepy and sick. With scopace even if she gets sick on a rough day out on the Albacore grounds she can take another pill and be good to go in 30 min. its amazing. Everyone who we know who have tried it, swear by it.
