That tack from Ogden Point to Albert Head always productive winter or summer ! Even more so back in the day (early 70's.........) when the mill was running Herring spawned under the log booms in Esquimalt harbour similar to Alberni . Best Regards , this snap shot winter (Jan) from "91"

Pic 2 sort of looks like the lower end of texada exiting malispina straits, that gap past the island could be Anderson Bay. I'm probably wrong but thats one of my (many) favorite places on the coast and I can't wait to get back again.
