This is a crowd pleaser .. soooo good... I'l going to try coconut rice and a lime rice tosee how that adds to it..

Aced the fresh halibut tonight with Hollandaise sauce, baked vegies and rice.
Sorry no pics....no time as timing is so important with Halibut. Can't be over cooked!!
Seared it in the fry pan and in the oven for about 3 minutes at 425 with Hollandaise on top.
with all that butter you can't go wrong.
my other favorite method is Fish n Chips deep fried with Roy's beer batter and Costco fries done in the oven.

Save-on app discount prime rib. Reverse sear method with Yorkshires going in with the rested meat once the oven gets to 500F.

Beef ribs in the dutch oven slow cooked.

Cooked the Ribs from the prime rib roasts for 7 hours (covered) at 300 deg. The meat turned out fantastic, very flavorful and tender.
Added some vegs, rice, yam and a nice bottle of wine and we had our Easter dinner.
I think we will be heading back to Save On to pick up another roast if they are still on sale for $8.95lb

had to try out that Brazilian stew . Used some prawns as not much white fish in the freezer . (Just have a piece of pacific cod we decided to take a few weeks back have yet to try it. )

Quaffed back with the usual fine Merlot.

Bought a huge 4 rib Prime Rib on sale this week at Save On Food's "my offers" for 8.95 a pound
Cut out the bones, fried them and finished in the oven and had them for dinner tonight. Cut the rest into steaks and one boneless roast and put them in the freezer.
Very tasty and easy dinner!!

Beef stew-- an old time favorite. After our kids returned to Vancouver today , it was time to forget about how we demolished the prime rib, and get back to eating normally again. Pizza tomorrow topped with prawns.
