What is the best tackle

Hello fellow fishers,
I am looking for some ideas of what tackle to use to catch Springs and Coho around Entrance Island, Five Fingers and Brickyard area.I have been away frome fishing for many years and am just returning to enjoy the relaxation that fishing has to offer. I am hoping that some of you out there on the salt chuck are willing to give up a few secrets and give me some ideas of what to try.

My staple for the area is 5" copcar spoon 5-6' behind a Hotspot green/glow flasher. Catches fish in Nanaimo, French Creek, Qualicum, Alberni, Barkley Sound..............

copcar coyote is a great bet, 6 feet behind a green flasher.
any hootchie with green in it seems to catch me fish.
other coyotes work well too, green and white, green and silver, wonderbread etc.
