Have not been out in a few weeks. After getting skunked three times in a row I decided to work on the boat and troll the meat counter at Thrifties. Any one having luck on the water front yet ??

The fish are few and far between.
There's the odd one being taken off the breakwall , but sure
nothing consistant.
If any consolation, i've been skunked 8 times in a row. [xx(]

I thought something was up, there's been more than the odd boat working the breakwater. Like you, I've heard of a few caught but nothing to write home about.

Could be the high fuel costs are keeping the locals closer to home.
now, if the fish would just show up ?

Ive been out a few times and been skunked.

Ya I have been out a couple times last week in pedder and the breakwater and nada...............!!!!!!!!!

Out today, just got 3 dogfish. Out last Friday and missed two strikes. Out last Wednesday, lost one 15-20 close to the boat when the hooks come off on a head shake, and missed another at least as good. I have not seen another angler play a salmon. However, I do know of a 9.13 from Clover yesterday and a 9 from there on Sunday.
