Well, in less than an hour i had 4 fish on ...
bonked a 10 & 8 lb , released a 5lb and lost another.
Flat calm, and only one other boat fishing. John ?
guts full of 3" needlefish

Watched the Killer Whales come through Oak Bay Friday afternoon and clean out a few seals. Talk about nature in the raw!!![xx(][xx(][xx(]

Oh yeah the fishing. Unbelievable! 12 fish on with 6 to the boat between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm . Ended up with 2 10lb springs and 1 8lb coho. Could hardly get one rod in the water before going off. Do not know if today was just an aberration or a good sign of things to come. Never thought I would be going out today after listening to the weather reports yesterday but it turned out to be a beautiful day.

There's a few around mostly 5-8 lbs with the odd
10lb'r in the mix
small needlefish in them, so you know what to use :)

Two springs today off the flats -- 120ft of water right on the bottom. Both on squirts. Twins -- both about 6lbs. Fished for about 2.5 hrs.

Got one just before Craven got out, and the other right after he left which confirms what we already knew -- fish fear him...

Picked up a 5-1/2 lb hatchery chinook off Esquimalt boat ramp at 3:00
this afternoon on 4" Tomic plug. Also lost a good fish to seal at
Brotchie at noon. Had this one on Baitrix tiny strip at 125'. Seal
cut line off ahead of flasher.
