Trailer Tongue Jack Pin Replacement

I bent the pin on my trailer tongue jack the other day, has anyone succesfully replaced one of these? The pin is the part that locks into place so you can swivel the jack up and down. I asked at tro tac and sherwood marine and both told me to just buy a new jack. Simple enough but if I can just replace the pin that would be cheaper and less waste as there is nothing wrong with the rest of the jack. I haven't tried to bend it back yet but I will give that a go.

Jacks are designed to be replaced when they die. You'll spend more time trying to find the part you need then just bending your old pin back and making it work. A good vise ought to do it. Good luck
