Sturgeon?

the other day my dad got a call from a tackle shop in abbotsford saying that he had won a guided sturgeon trip on the fraser river. what im wondering (we've never done sturgeon) is when is the best time of year to go for them?

Ya you'll have a ball! Brad you lucky bum. Don't they use like meat tyed to a hook and a huge weight, haha. I saw it on fishful thinking with the guy that says fish funny.
