Old boats and trailers, where to get rid of?

Way back when we started fishing the Fraser, we ran an old fiberglass tri hull.....

My buddy took it over and after a few years, it sat covered in the weeds.

Where he was storing it (Abbotsford/Langley) the property got sold.....so he is stripping off what gear was still there, then going to get rid of it. Both are old, was good to us, but time to go....best price he has got to dispose of it is $1600.00 IIRC

Any of you gone through this?

Thanks
Mike

I cut up an old Glaspar hull, years back. A guy picked it up with a basket sling but no spreader bar and destroyed it. I used a Sawzall to cut it up into manageable pieces, loaded on a trailer and took it to our local landfill. I recall it was about a $100 tipping fee.
