hey im new to port alberni im from east side of the island i was just wondering hows the steelhead fishing been this year for the stamp i heard the sprout was pretty good early on iv been out a couple times to both rivers never got nuthin went above the stamp falls today lookin for moneys pool then got down to the trail there then went up river instead of down so didnt end up fishing moneys pool
ended up at the ash river nice little river then drove into the falls to the bottom of the trail and walked up fished this huge run but no fish in there the steelhead fishing usually gets better for some spots when the water gets high kinda like the gold and salmon etc iv caught them in lower water but some times in the lower water the fish just dont
seem to be around specially in the larger clearer flowing rivers just keep tryin hope for some rain
