Have had my boat in Anacortes, Wa since 2010. Planning this year to move it to Sidney. Most of the fishing near Anacortes requires the trolling weights to be at the bottom. Have lost too many weights doing that. Have considered the purchase of a Cannon Digital trolling set up for the purpose.
Would rather fish at reasonable distance up from the bottom.
Question: How best to fish for salmon in and around Sidney with standard Cannon trolling set up or will I need to use a digital system there as well?
