Registering boat

My new boat has c numbers on it but is registered as pleasure boat but the website won’t let me use them as a number is there anyway around this?

The c number is with the Feds and a BC number is provincial.

The c number was on the boat from when it was a guide boat it got transferred to a personal boat and he kept the c numbers I’m just trying to transfer now

if it had bc numbers before it went to a c number and you know what it was. you can use that number. i did that with the pursuit i had

This is a private company that charges you for free services. You do not want to REGISTER the boat you want to licence it , quite a difference.

You want to do everything through Transport Canada , and they will in turn do all the provincial stuff. All the info is here
