Hmm. Well its being powered by twin 150 2 strokes with 340hrs each approx. My last boat which also happened to be my first boat was a 21.5 Pursuit. I imaging the proline would be much much more boat. I fish the islands the mouth etc.
Not that it really matters, but apparently they went out of business recently. There are a lot of proline boats in the southern US. Go on the THT website and ask Mike Carrigan, he is a former employee, he is very knowledgable and will answer a lot of your questions.
In terms of quality they are a step below pursuits which IMO are at or near the top. The newer ones look nice though and a 26 would sure be a nice step up from a 21. Moonsnails rig looks ideal. I thought he was based out of Bammy though? Moved?
I don't know. The one I saw, a recent one 31 foot(2004 I think) was really nice in the layout, but opening up the bilge hatch revealed plywood stringers with a very poor CSM matt and gelcoat coating on them.
ya , i dont think i'd put em the same sentence a s a pursuit or even a grady ,
But , a decdent boat ta say the least , i looked at a few before i bought my Striper..
