Project left overs (23 Hourston)

Actually i was shopping for a more kid friendly boat and came a cross a nice fourwinns .
i liked the collour combo and quickly layed it over a hourston for sale on line.
the program is on regular windows but it is a trial version so i couldnt finnish it. i used to use corell draw or photoshop but i dont have any updated versions that work.
to answer the teak pillar question..I was gonna make them white as i have some teak and holly for the floors.
Super cool

more baby steps.
finally completely glassed the stringers.
Then i had to move everything into my container cause of the cold.
Managed to cut and glass the bulkheads.

Nice to see things moving along,
Winter is the best time to work on boats and the worst time to do composites unfortunately.

Looks great 👍

I really like your build and I have two questions:
1.What program are you using for the paint scheme tuning? If it’s in this thread somewhere and I missed it my apologies.

2. Would you consider faux teak A pillars? I did it with my Hourston and some love it and some hate it but it’s true to the boat and distinguishes it from the rest.
Mine also has wood pillars - takes a bit of maintenance, but not so bad for me as the boat is stored under cover.

I got mine in Victoria from a small company - TeeCee Wood Products -- but I think they are sold by others in other marketplaces. Its 20'x22' and comes in single or double widths [10 or 20'] and lengths to order. Half a dozen or so colour options.

Mine is 17 years old and the only maintenance has been power-washing algae off it. Where I live its considered a temporary structure, so it doesn't have to meet building code setbacks -- which is the only way I could park there.

Thanks for the info
Will check them out. See them advertised all over but nice to get real world feedback
