Prawn trap size?

Making the shift over to the Bauer solid style traps and away from my old commercial stackable ones. A question to those of you fishing these. Is there a significant difference in the catching ability of the 24" traps versus the 18" traps? I don't have unlimited deck space so the 18's take up less room but do the 24's really fish better? I fish east coast mid island and west coast from Nootka up.

Myself, and my friends pretty much all run the 18s. One buddy does run 24s. No difference has ever been noticed. Bait and location are more important.

I like my 24’s never fished the 18s I can only guess the 24s wouldn’t catch less lol

18s for sure. Much smaller on the boat and they fish great.

Fished them on Jon's boat if and when i switch over to squares for the easiness i'd go 18's... nice perfect manageable size, you get them on some good prawn spots they load up pretty good... haven't seen 24's maybe the same don't know, but it's all about compact by then..

Good deal for someone but I’m going to try the 18’s. If they fish ok then perfect as space is somewhat limited.

Id bet the 18s fish as well as the 24s, go buy some!
