If you look at Suncor's location they are right on the Athabasca river, they have been there since start-up. The worst location possible. If you stand on the edge of the containment area you can throw rocks into the river. Aint that a peach!

I like how they point out it is Canadian crude maybe it should be refined here.

The biggest needer of the Keystone is EXXON with their Kearl project. If the pipeline does not go through it will slow many projects down. Unfortunately the demand will bring them back up. It is only a matter of time before the fracking will cause big problems, a few earthquakes caused by this will encourage the destruction to start back up here.
