Had blue top 34-size cranking versions, and they were excellent, lasted 7 years in my diesel boat. Just like red tops except for their marine terminals.
Haven't used the dual purpose blue tops, but IIRC the 34-size ones AH capacity (per pound or for the price) seemed pretty poor compared to other dual purpose AGM's like my Deka's. Don't know about the other sizes. You might want to compare specs.
