I was given a couple of hootchies that have water activated flashing lights in them. Interesting concept, but I don't know if they are legal. Any fish lawyers out there?

My memory is that they are legal now but many years back were not as there was something in the regs. at that time about no artificial lights. With the quality of modern day long lasting double glow and UV paint and plastic formulations, I not sure you would really get much of a comparative advantage out of actual battery powered lights.
