Is Oak Bay hot ???

Someone must have caught some fish on the flats, because the guides
were out in full force.
I haven't seen so many guide boats there in years.
Anybody know anything ?

Just talked to one of the guides who's out there now. It's not hot, it's just that the tides are too strong (over 3 knots) to fish the Bank or anywhere else.

Craven last week or so things were pretty good on the old Flats. Good numbers with some decent size.. Today was probably tourist hire a guide day..

nope, got skunked as usual.... ha!
It's weird, May used to be the best month on the flats and i've
yet to catch a spring there.

there were lots of birds there for awhile.....
I think 3 more weeks and we can start to guarantee fish for dinner. right now its hit and miss.

hope yer right..., i moved over to the Gap for a short while
but it looked even bleaker there.
Lot's of ballups on the flats, must be needlefish.
At one point brought the gear up to 40' , but no hits [V]
