Herring around Qualicum

Hi, has anyone noticed if there are any herring around Qualicum? They are great on the bbQ.

Theres always herring but they spawn a bit later. Feb march

Hi Kelly. Thanks for answering.
I am never on the Island at this time of year, that's why my question. But also, there were hardly any herring in the Bay this September, whereas September 2007 there were hordes of them.

So I was curious if they were there now because I'm dying to go over and snag some for the bbq. I think I'll swing over and try. I'll give you a report when I do.
