We were there from July 5 -10. The gate to the parking lot was open, the office trailer was gone,and the boat launch docks were a mess. We parked in the lot anyway, and when we came back on the 10th, someone from the band showed up with a bill book, and collected for our storage and taking the boat out. We did use their fresh water hose to clean up the boat and flush the engines. He said he could not charge us a launch fee as he wan't there when we put in. He had left a hand written note on our windshield to pay him. Not sure if he is the " official " from the band.It appears to be an honour system, but the concept of someone looking after your vehicle and trailer may not be expected.
Not much choice, and many vehicles were in the lot, so it is still a betetr go than trailering a boat to Tahsis or Cougar Creek.
