Fishing Wain Rock

Any advice on fishing Wain Rock? Been prawning in the inlet and thinking of dropping some lines. I have not fished in the inlet before. Any advice is appreciated. Spoons, plastic, herring, anchovies? Depth?

I lived in Deep Cove for 30 years,most fun I've had there was jigging May to Sept..I used to use a 40 gram chrome Perkins.Caught lots close to the marker in 30-50 ft. of water North and West side.When the birds are there you'll find the bait.Good luck.

Just fish and try..Its been pretty cold there last few months... Occasional fish. I just work the ledge and then out past Wain Rock and then circle in the bay...
