Note that we have two new shops, Dean's and Coastal Outboard.
Anybody have experiences or recommendations on these?
Need a new impeller on the Yamaha kicker.
PM me if you prefer.

Thanks

As AlK said,it's a very simple job requiring basic tools that most everyone owns. Probably $20 or so for the impeller, and
a 1/2- 1 hr. of your time and it's done. Not rocket science. Take the $100 you saved on labour and fill the boat up with
gas or whatever. Google it and I bet there's a youtube vid of someone doing it,and you'll see how simple it really is!

Thanks guys
I've looked at a couple of you tube videos and they aren't much help, at least for me.
Joined the huntfishnw group to check out the thread Alk linked to, but, though it looks pretty good from the description, for some reason I can't see the pictures.

Will mull the do-it-yourself over until next weekend when it's supposed to be dry outside.
But you got to remember, as a mechanic I'm a PLO guy (PLO = parts left over).
