Double Eagle 17' 6" I/O Project Boat

Been side tracked with boat trailer restoration
Thinking it would be a straight forward conversion from rollers to bunks
After removing wheels and drum brake hubs
Found out bearing seal surface was pitted
And on further inspection leaf springs should be replaced
Main frame of trailer had little to no rust, but crossmember and axle was rusted but savable
So the tear down started, sanding, grinding and sand blast the worse parts
Then re painting all parts with cold galvanizing
And ordered most of the new trailer parts I'm replacing
Still a few things to get
I'm converting the trailer to bunks
Looking for advice on best bunk glider material.
For my DE fiberglass hull with bottom paint
Not doing carpet
What produce out there that slides the best ?

Any body use this stuff Caliber Bunk Wrap
Is this any good ?

TIA

Quick update
Got majority of the boat trailer put back together
Still need to get bunks, lights and bow rollers for winch
Here's a before and after photo to compare

Good to be back working on the boat vs the trailer
Full disclosure, Non slip deck paint was done prior to starting on trailer
Installed below deck pvc pipe wire chase
Installed and sealed fuel tank cover
Installed all hatch hardware and hatches
Now the deck is looking complete
Still a couple smaller things left on the deck to do

What did you use for your deck coating?

@Bifmalibu
Headroom 5' 8" lowest point
5' 10" at highest point
Didn't want to go too high and make the boat too top heavy
Thought this height would be a good compromise
Top heavy is what I was thinking about as well. I'm planning to build a top for my 176 pretty soon. Don't want to end up too top heavy for sure. Thinking 3/8 ply, glass and epoxy. Acrylic windows, maybe tempered glass.
