Double Eagle 17' 6" I/O Project Boat

Mine was stuck once in the early years of owning the 165 Mercruiser. Mechanic hooked the rams back up, and used a metal bar topside between leg and housing. gives a straight push, otherwise the rams push is low down and uneven. prolly same method as you were give on youtube...

Okay didn't realize how long its been since I last posted an update
Alot of grinding & sanding since rotted transom core was removed
Upper deck needed repairs so I decided to remove it for easier repairs

Patching and filling a lot of holes to the upper deck
From over 50 years of use
Looks like someone took a shotgun to it
But better days ahead as this beast is being revived

A little more progress on the transom
Prep grinding mostly done, Template made
And pre-cut the coosa
Fine tuning still to be made to coosa, to make install go with out a hitch
Fingers crossed of coarse
Pre glassing starts next

Got more done over the last couple weeks.
Also lost a few days because of the bomb storm, too much wind and rain.
Worked on the deck sanding and filling holes from where I left off.
Cut coosa and glassed in the inside keel.
Started on stringers today, made a jig, scribed the stringer material, cut and fitted them in

Been too cold to glass outside
Told the wife I'm moving my operation inside
Told her we'll order takeout for awhile
She said she would pick it up
Texted her a few different time to pick up beer on her way back
She never replied, haven't seen or heard from her in nearly a month
What does that mean ?
On a side note, I'm getting stuff done, slowly
