Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Ok I understand all that but how does he get the money?? does he ask for a deposit, or want you to send money sight unseen based on a forged survey?
There is currently a Parker, Sea Fox, Cobia and this Robalo all doing the same nationwide scam and probably many more. Send them an email and ask about it, their money methods vary a bit. Ask for more photos is the first step to seeing their strange reply and explanation.

Few overpriced US boats, to low ball on, for those of you with two footitis. Carver 32 (commander alternative? wait for it), 25 trophy with 3 engines and two beds (good for a small family of 3?) in need of a repower unless you don't mind the two stroke smell and a couple extra gas $, finally 27 seasport with 3 newer engines... definitely the pick of the bunch to exploit low gas prices once the boarder and shelter in place comes off. A new 27 seasport with that power would likely run 150k?

A real commander alternative? I've heard good things about Tollys and it's a motivated seller. Get a survey and then bargain him down for a years worth of maintenance and gas? https://victoria.craigslist.org/boa/d/cowichan-bay-34-sport-sedan-cruiser/7098545318.html

Cool looking boat. Kinda iffy about the engines though...the ad doesn't say much other than they're original and have "quite a bit of hours"

Obviously way smaller, but here's a cool old Tolly 26 for $19,999 ask.

Noticed quite a few boats posted here from the US, Canadian dollar has taken a beating and I don't think you could have a boat brought back right now the way things are. I believe the best deals and the only deals to be had are local / Canadian boats for sale.

Doesn’t say the year of the hull. I think it was 2005 when the 232 went away from the rear fixed seat and put a drop down seat /fish box arrangement. New power though but full price I would say...

I used to import a lot of motorcycles back when the dollar was par and prices were cheaper in the states than here. Most scammers that I ran across had some BS story about being in Africa saving babies from the stampeding elephants or some crap. They would propose that I put the money in an escrow account with Western Union and then they would ship the bike to me so I could view it. If I liked the bike and was agreeable I was to instruct Western Union to release the funds and I could take the bike home. Usually this was conveyed to me in broken English. It really was so obvious that I can't imagine how anyone ever got scammed (sorry if anyone here has). I dont know if they have gotten more sophisticated over the years.
